This collection consists of eighty-two letters detailing the Civil War service of Henry Witmer Miller in the 79th Pennsylvania Regiment and later in the First Tennessee Infantry where he encamped in Kentucky and outside Nashville, Tennessee. Miller mostly wrote to his father, Henry Miller, and to his Aunt Ann Miller. Also, includes a receipt for household supplies, 1837, and three envelopes.
